I was deeply involved in every stage of the production, from early visual development to final animation delivery.
Style Frames and Character Turns: Based on Jess' initial concepts and character designs, I helped develop visual references, both relatable but also simple enough to rig and animate in two months time. We aimed for characters with a realistic feel to support the serious tone of the subject matter.
Storyboard Development: Working closely Jess and the freelance editor Dan Pearce, we responded to evolving scripts by rewriting and iterating storyboards to keep the narrative sharp and impactful.
Motion Design & Animation: Alongside Jess Mountfield, I animated key scenes, ensuring fluidity and coherence across transitions and moments of emphasis.
Cutdowns & Variations: I also contributed to alternate versions and social media cutdowns, optimizing the content for various platforms.
This project was both creatively demanding and deeply meaningful. The collaboration with Coinbase and Archetype, under the thoughtful direction of Jess Mountfield, allowed us to tell a story that not only informs but protects viewers. I’m proud to have contributed to such an important message.
